The Lambda Warszawa Association is a non-governmental, non-profit, volunteer lesbian-gay organization devoted to social work in the area of problems related to sexual orientation (homosexual or bisexual). The Association was established in 1997 and has been registred in the Warsaw Provincial Court. They realize projects in the Warsaw area. In July 1998 they founded the Rainbow Information and Support Centre. The Rainbow Centre offers anonymous and confidential free help to gays and lesbians. They are professionals and professionally trained volunteers.
Meetings:
Lesbian support group Thursdays from 6.30 pm till 8.30 pm
Gay Support Group - Sundays from 6 pm till 8 pm
Reading Room, information, councelling: Mondays to Saturdays from 6 pm till 9 pm.
Health councelling, HIV/AIDS, STD Mondays from 7 pm till 9 pm
Parents group, transsexuals, psychological councelling, legal councelling - ask at the Hotline

Tolersex, the 'Association of the Young and Free' was officially established in November, 1994 and re gistered by the Voivodship Court in Koszalin. The Association's activities are based on social work in the consultation and information unit of the Assiciation and answer the hotline. Their mission is to help young people in self defining their sexuality, as well as in learning one's own needs and rights, but also in developing interests and skills of a young person. ILGCN-Poland was suspended in 2006. Currently this association doesn't work. But it is possible that it will reactivate in 2008. It was the main organiser of Equality Parade & Queer Culture Days 'Parada Rownosci' (Polish Gay Pride) and it was a gay & lesbian culture organization, that opertated a info and helpline.
